No matter where I go in New York, I always seem to find spots that would make the perfect date night destinations. Hiding amongst the hustle and bustle of the city are so many romantic settings that need to be visited! There's nothing else like watching the sun set over the Manhattan skyline to make you feel all mushy inside.
Getting ready is sometimes the most fun part of going out, so I've put together three different looks for all of my favourite date spots in New York City.
LOOK 1 - SMORGASBURG MARKET
Smorgasburg is a food market in Brooklyn that has some of the most delicious treats in the city! This would make for a wonderful date spot, getting to know each other over The Good Batch ice cream sandwiches. The market takes place during the day so it's a great excuse to wear your trainers on a date. I paired them with some casual girlfriend jeans and my favourite trend this season - the pyjama style blouse! LOOK 2 - ANGELIKA FILM CENTER
I recently went to this independent theatre to watch White Girl and the interior was beautiful. This cinema stocks fancy cakes and pastries, making it a little more special than your usual cinema date. For a top as strappy as this, I always opt for no bra. For a date here I would opt for a slip dress with a statement shoe and bag.
